12 - 12 - 12

Everyday history is made, so why not make history everyday.  
I bet you know today is Wednesday, the 12th day of the 12th month in the year 2012 and the last day the human race will ever see a repetitive date in both our history and future, now don't be scared and mistake it for the day the Mayans said the world would end, that's still on the 21st, about 9 days from now and yes you still have time to ask for forgiveness of your sins, lol. My friend, @punthief  tweeted that if rain
begins to fall on the 21st, he will go to an ATM, get  a lot of cash and head to an eatery where he will just eat, by the way he's a funny chap and his tweets are so funny, you should follow him on twitter.  
Now before you classify me as one of the annoying busy - bodies on social media who always yap about news that no one cares about, hear me out a bit, thank you. If you belive there is nothing really special about the 12th of December, let's take a brief look at history. On this day in 1915, President Yuan Shikai of the Republic of China reinstated the Monarchy and declared himself emperor; on this date in 1942, World War II, German troops began operation winter storm, an attempt to relieve encircled Axis forces during the battle of Stalingrad; on this day in1964, Jomo Kenyatta became the first president of the Republic of Kenya; today is the Kenyan Independence day, salute to my Kenyan brothers and sisters plus i am sure today is somebody's birthday out there.
I was awake at midnight with the usual suspects on twitter, i wanted to watch how the day will begin, there was no roaring thunder by the way, there was no light either but i was filled with some excitement, today really is the last date of its kind and i want to make something special out of it, don't worry i am not taking an rifle and shooting all public officers who are known thieves, that will be classic though.
Rather, i want to remember i wrote this article emploring you to be the best you can be, to birth the inner god/goddess in you and let your light shine into the world. Spend your time leaving a legacy that you will always be remembered for, the world is yours for the taking and trust me i am taking mine.  I have got to go now, i have got the NBA dinner to attend later this evening and a lot more social marketing to do but i leave you with these words "everyday history is made, so why not make history everyday".
