Discover Business Opportunities in Africa

Wow, as a member of JCI London, working with other members of the team in support of our Nothing but Nets Campaign has been an awesome experience.  The Business Q & A session with Tim Campbell last Monday was great, the evening was very exciting and also very informative. It was simply a blast. Not only did Tim share inspiring and great business tips with members of the audience but everyone was also able to take something away from his wealth of knowledge and experience. Tim Campbell is a really great guy and sparing time from his very busy schedule to join us in supporting our malaria campaign is proof of that. Also, we were able to raise more funds which we would use in buying more malaria nets and therefore saving more lives, isn't that good news.

If you are in for another exciting Nothing but Nets fund raising event, you will love this. It is no news that Africa is the greatest emerging business market in the world. International organisations and countries are investing billions of dollars in other to take advantage of the business opportunities in Africa. Africa is open to business and it is best you also take a look into its diverse range of business opportunities. Investment opportunities in Africa include but are not limited to; Educational services, Telecommunication, Real Estate, Retail, Financial Services, Tourism, Natural resources, Massive workforce for outsourcing, Power generation, Public – Private Partnerships and Agriculture.

On Friday, 23^rd of August, 2013, JCI London will be hosting an event tagged "Discover Business in Africa". It will be a networking and fundraising event in support of our Nothing but Nets Campaign aimed at exploring: current business opportunities in Africa; entrepreneurship challenge in Africa; how to find a business partners in Africa; mind sets and preconceptions about Africa; cultural challenges and volunteering opportunities in Africa.

It will be a good opportunity to:

•             Network with other young professionals, entrepreneurs and business professionals

•             Find out about opportunities in Africa

•             Taste some delicious African food

•             Enjoy African storytelling

•             Dance to some African rhythms

•             If you like surprises and to experience new cultures

Kindly note that all the profits from this event will be used to buy mosquito nets to eradicate malaria in Ghana.
