NAIJA STREET LIFE

As a youth have you noticed friends around you who try to form street(being brought up in the ghetto)? From the ajebo who attended Grange Secondary School,G.R.A Ikeja to the Covenant University graduate. They try to hide their privileged backgrounds and use slang in a bid to build up their street credibility(respect). We however recognise such impostors and always remind them that daddy and mummy would call if they stay out too late.

To grow up on the streets is to live the life of a typical lagos tout,to grow up in oshodi as an NFA(person regarded to have no future ambition),not know where the next meal is coming from,to have no one who would cater to your needs and have to use your fist and baritone voice as tools of survival daily.

To understand street, visit people who live in slums, wear their shoes, share in their experiences, then you would give thanks to God for the kind of opportunities you are blessed with.

My only question however is what have you achieved with your opportunities. Have you bettered the life of another,if not, what are u waiting for.

Why not stop trying to form street and help get someone off the street, contribute your quota to making things better. Join hands in making a better Nigeria.

Let's promote literacy, economic growth and social development.
